Outside my own companies, I have spent years in rooms with other founders and CEOs, helping them work through the same struggle. As President of the Entrepreneurs' Organization Atlanta chapter, I led a community of business owners through a year built around the idea that growth is rarely a straight line, and that the leaders who move forward fastest are the ones willing to be honest about where they are stuck. I have also served on the board of the French American Chamber of Commerce for the Southeast, including as Chairman, providing guidance to its Executive Director and helping the organization support a wider network of business leaders across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Mississippi. Both roles taught me the same lesson I now bring into every coaching engagement: real progress comes from clarity and honest conversation, not from another meeting that changes nothing.
