I am a Bloom Growth Coach because I am passionate about helping business owners and executives rediscover joy in their work while building healthy organizations where people and businesses flourish. Work is an essential part of our human existence, and as leaders, we have an extraordinary opportunity to create organizations that dignify people, provide meaningful work, and make the world a better place.

I first discovered my heart for coaching in fourth grade. I read a book about the legendary Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry. That night, I filled a three-ring binder with football plays. The next day, I began coaching my friends on the playground. We dominated because we had a plan! It was a lesson that has paid dividends ever since! At the same time, I was developing another lifelong passion: understanding how things work and trying to make them work better. My toy box was filled with disassembled toys and customized creations.

Those two passions, developing people and improving systems, shaped my nearly 30-year career as a business leader helping visionaries bring order to their businesses. From front-line leadership to serving as president and COO, I led teams and transformations in organizations ranging from technology startups to Fortune 100 companies and regional manufacturers. Over the past eight years, I have seen the power of growth operating systems firsthand. Applying these principles helped one company I led more than triple in value in five years while building a culture people were proud to be part of.

Today, I have exchanged the executive’s seat for the coach’s seat. Through the Bloom Growth System, I help owners and leadership teams turn vision into disciplined execution, so they can build thriving organizations that run well without consuming their owners' lives.
