Not to brag (okay, maybe a little), but Bloom Growth has some of the best employees in the industry. Not only are they great at their jobs, but they’re all fun to work with, too! They’re so amazing, in fact, that we couldn’t help but share an employee spotlight with you!

Meet Regis Snyder, our hilarious, personable Sales Client-Facing Trainer. This week, we talked to Regis about his job, Bloom Growth and so much more!

So, tell us, what does it mean to be a Sales Client-Facing Trainer?

I’m responsible for training all of our new salespeople! I show them how to conduct demos and trainings, and I explain the software to them.

Most importantly, though, is the actual demos themselves. I write all the demo material. My job is to watch everyone’s demos to make sure they’re doing everything that needs to be done—typically, everything goes very well, which is excellent!

What would you say is your favorite part of your day-to-day?

Talking with people. I’m very excited about our product, so I get really pumped, and I start getting excited. So, yeah, my favorite part is talking with the clients, and showing them how much our software is going to help them through their EOS® journey.

How long have you been with Bloom Growth? What led you here?

I started December 4th of 2018, so a little over two and a half years.

It’s actually a little funny—one of the companies I was working for before Bloom Growth used the software. The company I was working for did some restructuring, and actually got rid of the position I was in. They said, “Hey, we set up an interview for you with Bloom Growth, and we think it’ll be a perfect fit. So, I went over, I interviewed with Bloom Growth, and everything went wonderfully.

I started as a regular salesperson and eventually became the Sales Manager. Then, Bloom Growth did some restructuring, and I wasn’t that fond of spending time with all the numbers. I wanted to be out in front of people, talking with them. I’m really a performer; I like to get out and get people excited about the software. I love the process of getting involved with people and talking with them. So when we restructured, we put someone else in charge of the numbers, and I now manage everything that’s client-facing.

In the past, did you ever work with companies using EOS?

Absolutely. I love it. Now that I know everything about EOS, I don’t understand how a business can move their company forward without using EOS. I really think EOS is amazing. There are so many different ways to structure or run a business, but I really, fully invest myself in EOS.

Love to hear it. On a different note, what have you been up to in quarantine?

My wife and I have been doing a lot of improvements to our home. We actually gutted our entire garage, and built it back up from scratch. We built a bar out there, and now it’s all-done! We finished it just before everything started with COVID.

And in the summertime, we have a hot tub in the backyard, so it’s kind of like we’re on vacation every night. We go out, we sit in the hot tub, and we have the bar now, too. So, that’s been what’s taking up my time.

That’s so cool! What do you like to drink from your new bar?

I’m a beer fan. What I really like is microbrews and IPAs. For most of my life, all I drank was Bud Lite.

There’s a brewery near me called Crystal Lake Brew, and I think they have the best beer I’ve ever tasted in my life. When I travel for work, I always ask “What’s your best microbrew or IPA in the area?” And I always like them, but nothing quite comes close to Crystal Lake Brew.

What’s your favorite book?

Oh my goodness. Hard question. My favorite book, I’ll be honest, is probably “Get a Grip,” which is part of the Traction series. It’s a fictional book, so it’s a story about a company that’s going through the EOS process, and I love that book. I think it’s so well-written.

If we’re talking regular reading, I’m a huge Stephen King fan.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would play music. I play the drums. I actually played semi-professionally for about 4 years in my early to mid-20s. We played in Milwaukee, Chicago, New York, all that. We were in a rap-metal band. Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe was probably my biggest influence.

If you were shipwrecked on an island, what 3 things would you want with you?

Definitely my stereo, because I love music. Then, my TV, because I love watching movies and TV shows. And of course, my wife. We met at a gig, and we’ve been together every single day since our first date.
